House Clear-out and Car Boot Sale of Poudenas

In the heart of the village of Poudenas (47170), at the foot of the medieval castle overlooking the Gélise valley, the association Poudenas Avenir et Traditions organizes its grand house clear-out and car boot sale every August 15th. This summer event combines a friendly flea market with exceptional heritage in a unique setting in the Lot-et-Garonne region.

An Exceptional Historical Setting

The Château de Poudenas is a jewel of Gascon medieval architecture. Built in the 13th century by the lords of Podenas, it rises about fifty meters above the Gélise, on the edge of the Landes forest. Property of noble families in the region for centuries, it now belongs to the de Nadaillac family. This listed castle provides the dream setting for a day of treasure hunting and encounters.

A Vintage Car Exhibition

The unique feature of this house clear-out is the presence of a vintage car exhibition that attracts enthusiasts of old vehicles in addition to flea market lovers. This double attraction makes the day a complete family event, where young and old alike find their happiness. Exhibitors offer clothing, furniture, dishes, tools, and various objects from houses and attics in the region.
