Nautical and maritime flea market on May 1st in Perros-Guirec, on the Pink Granite Coast
Every May 1st, the Association des Plaisanciers des Ports de Perros-Guirec (APPPG) organizes its famous Puces de Mer on the allée Florence Arthaud, in front of the Linkin, facing the marina. For over forty editions, this unmissable event on the Côte de Granit Rose has attracted sea enthusiasts, boaters, and curious visitors looking for nautical equipment at reduced prices.
Unlike traditional flea markets, the Puces de Mer only accepts vendors offering items related to the sea and fishing. You can find rigging, ropes, sails, outboard motors, fishing gear, nautical clothing, sea books, navigation instruments, and marine decorative objects. This specialization is the charm and originality of the event, attracting bargain hunters from all over Brittany.
Beyond the stalls, the Puces de Mer offers sea rescue demonstrations by SNSM volunteers, rowing and survival canoe initiations, as well as musical entertainment throughout the day. Maritime heritage associations have information and exhibition stands. A refreshment stand and a crêpe stand allow visitors to eat in a festive and maritime atmosphere, with a view of the port and the pink granite rocks.
The Puces de Mer originated from the desire of boaters to create a moment of sharing around their common passion. Over the decades, the event has become a major fixture in the Perros-Guirec calendar, a symbol of Breton maritime culture and the town's attachment to its marinas. Each edition strengthens the bonds between generations of sailors, fishermen, and sea lovers.
