With over 150,000 visitors per year, it is the second largest regular flea market in France after Saint-Ouen. A wide range of items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries can be found here.
Since 1978, the Metz Métropole Exhibition Centre has hosted Les Puces de Metz, a flea market that has become an institution. Starting with 90 exhibitors, it now brings together over 150 professional exhibitors and attracts more than 150,000 visitors per year, making it the second largest regular flea market in France after the famous Puces de Saint-Ouen.
Les Puces de Metz offers a very wide range of goods, mainly from the late 19th and early 20th centuries: furniture, trinkets, tableware, silverware, paintings, prints, lighting, military items, old books, and curiosities. The quality of the items offered and the professionalism of the exhibitors contribute to the market's reputation.
The market is held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., from March to December, in a covered hall at the Exhibition Centre, rue de la Grange aux Bois. Entry and parking are free. This indoor format allows for bargain hunting in all weather, summer and winter.
