About Old-Time Market Bagnols

On Sunday April 19, 2026, Bagnols-en-Forêt brings back the atmosphere of bygone Provençal markets. Over 60 costumed exhibitors, artisans, traditional craft demonstrations and local produce fill the hilltop village in the pays de Fayence. An emblematic event organised by Bagnols Animation Tourisme each spring.

When Bagnols-en-Forêt turns back time

The Old-Time Market is not an ordinary flea market. Bagnols Animation Tourisme recreates the atmosphere of early 20th-century Provençal markets for a full day: exhibitors in traditional costumes, demonstrations of forgotten skills, local produce presented as it used to be. The 2026 edition runs on Sunday April 19, from 9am to 6pm, throughout the historic hilltop village.

60+ exhibitors and continuous demonstrations

Artisans: potters, basket-weavers, blacksmiths, tanners, glassmakers
Local producers: honey, olive oil, cheeses, charcuterie, Côtes de Provence wines
Lavender, herbal teas, soaps, artisan cosmetics

Costumes for all

Traditional costumes are lent free of charge to adults and children. Fittings on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at the hall below the Foyer Municipal, 20€ non-cashed deposit.
