The Vers-Pont-du-Gard car boot sale, in the heart of the Pont du Gard region

Every year in March, the village of Vers-Pont-du-Gard (30210) hosts its annual car boot sale on the Place du Marché aux Cerises. Organized by the village's APE (Association des Parents d'Élèves - Parents' Association), this event brings together around 100 exhibitors, both private individuals and flea market enthusiasts, in one of the most touristy sites in the Gard, near the famous Pont du Gard.

The Place du Marché aux Cerises, the central square of Vers-Pont-du-Gard, offers a pleasant setting for this spring car boot sale. Private exhibitors offer a variety of items: adult and children's clothing, furniture, tableware, books, toys, trinkets, and everyday objects. With around a hundred stalls, the event offers a wide diversity of items at attractive prices, in a friendly and lively atmosphere. The public opening is from 9 am.

An event to benefit children and the school

As with most car boot sales organized by parents' associations, the profits generated by this event are donated to the children of the Vers-Pont-du-Gard school to fund outings, extracurricular activities, and educational materials. The commitment of volunteer families and their enthusiasm make this day a popular success every year.
