Looking Back at the 2025 Edition

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Courtenay hosted its traditional Summer Car Boot Sale to beautifully close the summer season. The town center had transformed: Place Honoré Combes, Rue des Réservoirs, Avenue de la Gare, and Rue Foch welcomed exhibitors' stalls for this day of bargain hunting and celebration.

The event attracted a large crowd, taking advantage of the last days of vacation for a family outing combining a car boot sale and a funfair. The rides and attractions set up near the flea market stalls created a festive and colorful atmosphere characteristic of end-of-summer fairs.

On the bargain hunting side, summer and mid-season clothing, toys, tableware, books, and decorative items made up the bulk of the offerings. There were plenty of good deals for the earliest visitors. The next edition of the Summer Car Boot Sale is scheduled for the last Sunday of August 2026.
