The 2025 edition of the Marcellois car boot sale and plant swap was held on Sunday, May 11th, in the village streets. The Marcelloisirs association offered treasure hunting, plant exchanges, musical entertainment with a batucada, meal trays, and waffles.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the streets of the village of Marcellois hosted the traditional car boot sale and plant swap organized by the Marcelloisirs association. From 7:30 am, visitors browsed the flea market stalls set up on Rue Saint-Antoine, looking for bargains among the items, clothes, toys, and trinkets offered by exhibitors.
From 10 am, the plant swap took over, bringing together amateur and passionate gardeners around tables filled with perennials, aromatics, shrubs, and original vegetable plants. The exchange of advice and tips was as rich as the exchanges of carefully labeled pots.
The batucada set the rhythm of the day with its lively percussion, while the village wash house, decorated for the occasion, provided a charming backdrop for strollers. The meal trays and waffles offered by volunteers delighted visitors, making this 2025 edition a great success for the community life of Marcellois.
