Thiré flea market

Thiré is a rural commune of about 500 inhabitants on the Vendée plain, between Luçon and Fontenay-le-Comte. Its annual flea market is run jointly by the Festival Committee and Thiré Youth Association, giving it an especially lively intergenerational dimension.

An intergenerational event

The Festival Committee (adults, elders) + Youth Association partnership creates unique dynamics. Young people help with logistics, reception, bar, and the flea market funds their own projects (outings, activities). A fine village cohesion model.
