2025 Edition Review

On Sunday 27 April 2025, the Place de l'Église in the village of Augy came alive for the annual spring car boot sale. In this wine-growing village in the Yonne valley, 8 km from Auxerre, residents had set up stalls to offer bric-à-brac, clothing, toys and second-hand books. Visitors from Auxerre and neighbouring villages took advantage of the fine spring day to browse the stalls and leave laden with finds. The Place de l'Église, with its authentic village setting surrounded by Auxerrois vineyards, provided an ideal backdrop for this convivial event characteristic of Burgundian rural life.
