The unmissable spring flea market in the heart of Boulogne-Billancourt
Every April, Place Marcel Sembat transforms into a vibrant open-air flea market. More than 180 exhibitors β private sellers and professional dealers alike β offer vintage furniture, antique tableware, period toys, vinyl records, vintage clothing, and collectibles in a festive, friendly atmosphere. One of Boulogne-Billancourt's most beloved spring events.
As soon as the warm weather arrives, Place Marcel Sembat transforms into a grand open-air flea market. The Spring Flea Market is one of the most anticipated events on the Boulogne-Billancourt calendar: every April, more than 180 exhibitors take over this emblematic central square to offer visitors a journey through time and the most eclectic mix of second-hand goods imaginable.
The event welcomes both private individuals taking the opportunity to clear out their attics and professional antique and second-hand dealers showcasing their finest finds. This blend is precisely what gives the event its charm: a great piece can emerge equally from the improvised stall of a local resident or the carefully arranged stand of an experienced antique dealer.
Across hundreds of linear meters, stalls stretch out and treasures accumulate. You can find everything: vintage furniture from the 1950s to the 1980s, design lighting, antique tableware (porcelain, earthenware, crystal), vintage toys highly prized by collectors, books and comics, vinyl records of all kinds, vintage clothing and accessories, trinkets, old tools, and a thousand other objects that delight lovers of second-hand goods.
The spring flea market is also an extraordinary machine for encounters and stories. Every object has its provenance, its context, its little legend β and the exhibitors, whether passionate professionals or ordinary private sellers, love to tell the story of the pieces they offer.
Place Marcel Sembat is located at the crossroads of the main arteries of central Boulogne-Billancourt, just steps from the town hall and many shops. Served by Metro line 9 (Marcel Sembat station), it is easily accessible from Paris and the inner suburbs.
Free entry for visitors. Bring cash as many private sellers do not have card payment terminals. Arrive early for the best finds β from the 7am opening, experienced collectors are already there.
