Every year in April, the Amicale du Val de Durance organizes a large spring car boot sale at the Les Lauzières sports complex in Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban. This event is one of the most important in the town and attracts many bargain hunters from all over the Durance valley.

A well-organized and comfortable format

The car boot sale hosts around 89 private exhibitors in numbered pitches of 4 meters by 4 meters. Each stand is equipped with a table and two chairs provided by the organization, a welcome comfort for sellers. The event takes place under the covered bowling alley, which guarantees shelter in case of bad weather — a major asset in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in spring.

Between Durance and Montagne de Lure

Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban is a dynamic town located at the confluence of the Durance and the Bléone, between the Montagne de Lure and the first foothills of the Préalpes de Digne. The car boot sale benefits from this remarkable natural setting and is a pleasant outing for families.

Refreshments and conviviality

The volunteers of the Amicale offer refreshments with free coffee in the morning to exhibitors and early visitors. Entry is free and indoor restrooms are accessible. The car boot sale runs from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with setup possible from 6:30 AM.
