Every Sunday morning, the Place de la Gare in Grospierres comes alive to the rhythm of a weekly car boot sale that has become a must-attend event in the south of Ardèche. Organized by Houari Medjahdi, this friendly and popular event brings together exhibitors from all over the region each week to offer furniture, tableware, books, clothes, toys, vinyl records, and all sorts of items.
The market opens its doors as early as 7 am, offering the earliest treasure hunters the chance to find the best deals before the crowds arrive. Exhibitors can occupy their pitch until 2 pm. The capacity is around 60 pitches, ensuring a varied and renewed offering each week.
Grospierres is a village in Ardèche located a few kilometers from the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche and the Pont d'Arc, in an exceptional natural environment. The village, bordered by the Chassezac river and surrounded by scrubland and chestnut trees, attracts a significant number of tourists every summer, which considerably boosts attendance at the Sunday car boot sale.
