Car boot sale of Pirey

Review of the May 18, 2025 Edition

The beautiful day of Sunday, May 18, 2025, smiled upon the annual Pirey car boot sale. At the Espace Saint-Exupéry, nearly 180 private exhibitors were set up from 8:30 AM to welcome bargain hunters from the Besançon agglomeration and beyond. The sales area, spread over more than 1,000 m² between covered surfaces and outdoor spaces, offered visitors a rich discovery tour.

Clothing for all, toys and childcare items, furniture, books, trinkets, and decorative objects: the variety of stalls met the expectations of a family-friendly and good-natured clientele. The refreshments and light catering offered by the organizers fostered conviviality and exchanges between exhibitors and visitors. The solidarity aspect of the event — with 1 euro per linear meter donated to the pediatric department of the CHU of Besançon — was once again highlighted by the participants.
