Provence Verte's big autumn flea market
Every first Sunday of October, Garéoult — a large village in Provence Verte between Brignoles and Toulon — hosts its autumn flea market. Around 200 stalls fill the centre from 8am in a family-friendly Provençal atmosphere. 2024 edition: 6 October. 2025: 5 October. Same format expected for 2026 — very likely the first Sunday of October.
Run by the Cohésion sociale department of the town hall, the event prioritises local residents. Registration forms are downloadable at gareoult.fr and submitted at the town hall. This keeps pricing affordable and preserves authentic local flavour.
Format
From 8am to 4pm, central Garéoult becomes a large hunting ground. Adjacent streets close to traffic; sellers set up per town-hall allocation. The public circulates freely in crisp early-autumn mornings giving way to gentle midday sun. One of the area's rare large flea markets.
