Nogent-le-Roi is a town in Eure-et-Loir steeped in history. A former stronghold of the Kings of France, the town preserves many testimonies of its medieval past: its partially preserved castle, its 14th-century Gothic collegiate church dedicated to Saint-Sulpice, and its characteristic narrow streets. Located in the Eure valley, between Chartres and Dreux, the town is an important center of life for the surrounding communes in this sector of Eure-et-Loir.
The peculiarity of the Nogent-le-Roi car boot sale is that it is held in the very town center, with the local shops open for the occasion. This integration into the town's commercial fabric creates a festive and lively atmosphere, combining flea market, shopping, and gastronomy. On-site catering allows visitors to extend their visit and spend a full day in Nogent-le-Roi.
