About Wissous Municipal Flea Market
Every autumn, the Town of Wissous organises its great municipal flea market on the Place de la Libération, near the town hall. Around 270 private sellers fill this village that has preserved its authentic character despite its proximity to Paris-Orly airport. Free entry, 8:30 am–6 pm.

Wissous is an Essonne commune of around 7,500 inhabitants, nestled between Paris-Orly airport and the dense southern suburbs. Despite this unusual setting, Wissous has preserved a remarkable village character. At the heart of the old village, the Église Saint-Nicolas — with origins dating to the 12th century — dominates the village square with its Romanesque tower, a reminder of the commune's long history.
The municipal flea market, held each autumn on the Place de la Libération, gathers around 270 private sellers, making it one of the largest flea markets in Essonne by seller count.
