A flea market for a feline cause

In Solliès-Pont, animal welfare has its ambassadors: the Le Miaou 83 & Co association, wholly devoted to protecting and neutering the canton's stray cats. To fund its actions — trapping, neutering, vet care, feeding — the association organises its flea market several times a year on the boulodrome car park. A fixture of the Solliès-Pont calendar.

What's on offer

A broad range: bric-a-brac, crockery, books, clothing, toys, decor, small furniture, tools, records and sundry items. Many canton residents take part, and association volunteers also run stalls stocked with donations collected year-round.

A concrete cause

Every euro raised — pitch fees, refreshments, donations — goes directly to neutering, vet care, treatments and feeding stray cat colonies. The association's work is recognised by the town hall and residents, who see it as a strong commitment to urban biodiversity and animal welfare.

Smooth logistics
