The 2025 edition of the Car Boot Sale and Flea Market of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence was held on Thursday, May 1st, on Place Général-de-Gaulle, at the old train station. Organized by the association Les Cavaliers Errants, this treasure hunting day brought together 122 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, from 6 am to 6 pm. Traditional objects, paintings, old books, Provençal crockery, trinkets, and curiosities attracted bargain hunters from all over the Alpilles region. In the exceptional setting of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the birthplace of Nostradamus and the land of inspiration for Van Gogh, this edition confirmed the popularity of this annual May 1st event.
On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, the Place Général-de-Gaulle in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence hosted the annual edition of the Car Boot Sale and Flea Market, organized by the equestrian association Les Cavaliers Errants. From 6 am to 6 pm, 122 exhibitors offered visitors and bargain hunters a wide variety of items: paintings, old books, Provençal crockery, trinkets, clothing, toys, furniture, and curiosities from all eras.
Located at the site of the old train station, this event benefited from the remarkable setting of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, at the foot of the Alpilles. Visitors could extend their treasure hunting day by discovering the historic center, the medieval streets, and the fountains of this historic Provençal town, known worldwide as the birthplace of Nostradamus and the place where Van Gogh painted some of his most famous canvases at the Saint-Paul de Mausole monastery.
Free admission and the availability of parking nearby contributed to the success of this day, which has become a must-see event in the calendar of car boot sales and flea markets in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. The 2026 edition is already confirmed for May 1st, 2026.
