Car Boot Sale and Flea Market of the Relais des Chasseurs

Throughout 2025, the Relais des Chasseurs hosted its weekly car boot sale and flea market every Sunday in Berre-l'Étang. Approximately 50 exhibitors — private individuals and professionals — set up from 6 am on the RD 113 site, at the place called Les Grapoux, to offer their second-hand items to bargain hunters.

From 6 am to 1 pm, visitors could find furniture, antique tableware, clothing, trinkets, second-hand books, tools, and decorative objects. The friendly atmosphere and the event's regularity have built a loyal following of bargain hunters from Rognac, La Fare-les-Oliviers, Vitrolles, and the entire area around the Étang de Berre.

The site, well located between Rognac and La Fare-les-Oliviers, benefited from easy access and on-site parking. The Relais' snack bar offered coffee, drinks, and pizzas, creating a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. In July and August, hours were moved forward from 5 am to 12 pm to adapt to the strong summer heat of the South of France.

This Sunday event took place just a stone's throw from the rich heritage of Berre-l'Étang, between the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Caderot, a 3rd-century historical monument, and the shores of the Étang de Berre, Europe's largest saltwater lagoon.
