Car boot sale Libres Chats en Bastide in Villefranche-de-Rouergue

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, the association Libres Chats en Bastide organized its annual charity car boot sale in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. In the exceptional setting of this 13th-century royal bastide, sellers and treasure hunters gathered for a day of good deals in service of the animal cause. The stalls offered a wide variety of second-hand items: tableware, books, clothing, toys, knick-knacks, and small furniture, at attractive prices.

The association, which has been working since 2015 to protect stray and abandoned cats in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, had an information booth to present its actions: sterilization and identification of stray cats, socialization and adoption of kittens through a network of foster families, installation of cat shelters in partnership with the municipality. The profits from the day were entirely dedicated to financing veterinary care and sterilization campaigns for the bastide's cat colonies.
