One of Haut-Bocage Vendée's best-loved sales. 2026 date: Sunday 7 June, 8am-6pm, in the verdant setting of Lake Espérance just outside Pouzauges town centre. Around 100 sellers ring the lake, offering a pleasant lakeside browse.
The site is the event's trump card: shaded under big trees, cool lake air, walking circuit, family-friendly. Visitors hunt but also picnic, play with children and enjoy a quiet lakeside Sunday morning.

Pouzauges, Haut-Bocage capital
Pouzauges (~5,500) is a medieval town perched on the first Haut-Bocage heights. Its 12th-century square keep, ramparts, and Notre-Dame-du-Vieux-Pouzauges church (with rare mural paintings) make it a key heritage stop. Lake Espérance below is a leisure site: fishing, walking, pedalos, picnic area.
