The Claude Antoine cultural center, located at 15 rue de Nancy, hosts the annual car boot sale of Jouy-aux-Arches. From 9 am to 4 pm, visitors can browse through the stalls of individuals offering clothes, toys, books, dishes, and various items. The family atmosphere and the pleasant setting of the cultural center make it a popular event.
Jouy-aux-Arches owes its name to the arches of the Roman aqueduct that still span the Moselle. This monumental vestige from the Gallo-Roman era, originally 1,128 meters long, testifies to the importance of Divodurum (ancient Metz). The town, located on the banks of the Moselle in a setting of vineyards and hillsides, offers a remarkable living environment between historical heritage and nature.
