Large neighborhood flea market organized by A2MS in the Jatteau district of Moissy-Cramayel
The Jatteau Flea Market is one of the largest popular events in Moissy-Cramayel, in southeastern Seine-et-Marne. Organized each year by the A2MS association (Association des Moissens) in the residential Jatteau district, it brings together around 250 exhibitors and attracts up to 3,000 visitors over a day. Reserved for individuals, it offers a friendly and accessible format, with a rate of 19 euros for a stand.
Organized by A2MS, the Association of Moissens residents, in the Jatteau district, this flea market has become one of the largest of its kind in southern Seine-et-Marne over the years. With around 250 exhibitors spread over the district's avenues and nearly 3,000 visitors welcomed during the day, it reflects the associative dynamism of Moissy-Cramayel and the residents' attachment to this popular tradition. The scale of the event makes it a must-see for bargain hunters in the southeastern Paris region.
The Association of Moissens (A2MS), based at 730 avenue de Jatteau in Moissy-Cramayel, is the driving force behind this annual event. Created to animate neighborhood life and foster ties between residents, it organizes various events throughout the year, but the flea market remains its flagship event. The association handles the entire organization itself: preparing spaces, registering exhibitors, welcoming visitors, security, and entertainment. It is thanks to the volunteer commitment of its members that the event can unfold in such good conditions.
An important feature of this event: it is strictly reserved for individuals, excluding professional flea market dealers. This rule guarantees a real diversity of items, often directly from the attics, cellars, and garages of residents: clothing, toys, books, dishes, small appliances, furniture, childcare equipment, collectibles, knick-knacks. Prices remain very affordable and haggling is an integral part of the fun. The atmosphere is relaxed, family-friendly, and conducive to great encounters.
The rates for exhibiting are 20 euros for 4 linear meters for Moissy-Cramayel residents and 38 euros for 4 linear meters for non-residents, according to the association's usual practices. Registration is done online on several dates before the event (generally in April and May) by email to [email protected] with the subject 'demande d'inscription vide-greniers'. The association then sends full details to interested candidates.
Moissy-Cramayel, a town of 19,000 inhabitants located in the Grand Paris Sud conurbation, is part of a rapidly developing territory between Melun and Evry. The Jatteau district, in the heart of the town, is one of the most residential and one of the liveliest. It regularly hosts association events and provides an ideal setting for an event of this scale. The proximity of Savigny-le-Temple - Nandy station (RER D) and the A5 motorway makes Moissy-Cramayel easily accessible from Paris, Melun, or Fontainebleau.
Despite its growing success, the Jatteau flea market has managed to preserve its original neighborhood spirit and friendliness. That's what makes it charming: you meet both regulars and newcomers, in a family atmosphere where everyone takes the time to chat. For families, it's the ideal opportunity to spend a day outdoors, browse at low prices, and enjoy the entertainment provided on site (refreshment stand, snacks).
