In August 2025, the village of Homps hosted its traditional summer car boot sale in an atmosphere marked by the nearby Canal du Midi. Private exhibitors offered their second-hand items in the village squares, while boaters moored at the marina joined the ranks of visitors.
The day took place under the shade of the centuries-old plane trees, with a refreshment stand run by volunteers and cheerful conversations between sellers and bargain hunters from all walks of life. The unique setting of Homps, between the canal, vineyards, and scrubland, made this 2025 edition a memorable day.
