The grand car boot sale of the Nogaro festivals

Nogaro (32110), capital of Bas-Armagnac and home to the famous Circuit Paul Armagnac, hosts its traditional festival car boot sale every year in mid-summer. This popular event is part of the program for the local Nogaro festivals, which liven up the town for several days in August with Landes bullfights, bands, bodegas, and street entertainment.

A car boot sale throughout the town

The car boot sale takes over all the streets and squares in the town center of Nogaro. Nearly 160 exhibitors—individuals and professionals—set up their stalls along the sidewalks to offer clothing, toys, books, trinkets, tableware, furniture, vintage items, and curiosities of all kinds. The exhibitor fee is €3 per linear meter (€1 for Nogaro residents). Exhibitors are welcomed from 7 am.

Regional Products Fair

Alongside the car boot sale, a fair of regional products highlights the riches of the Gascon terroir: Armagnac, Floc de Gascogne, foie gras, confits, cheeses, pastries, and other local specialties. Producers from the Gers and neighboring departments come to showcase their expertise, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and purchase exceptional products.

Located in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, Nogaro is a dynamic small town of 2,000 inhabitants, known for its car racing circuit, its Romanesque collegiate church, and its traditional Gascon festivals. The Nogaro festivals, with their Landes bullfights in the arena, their bodega evenings, and their fireworks on August 15th, are one of the unmissable events of the Gers summer. The car boot sale is part of this festive atmosphere, offering visitors the chance to hunt for treasures while enjoying the lively town center and Gascon traditions.
