Car boot sale and Vérac Plant Show

When bargain hunting meets gardening

Every spring, the fairground and the town hall park of Vérac (33240) host an original event that combines a car boot sale and a Plant Show. Organized by the association Vérac en Fêtes, this gathering brings together car boot sale exhibitors – individuals offering clothes, toys, trinkets, and various objects – and nursery owners, horticulturists, and artisans presenting plants, flowers, garden decorations, and handmade creations in the same space.

Vérac, a wine-growing village in Haute-Gironde

Vérac is a rural commune of about 1,500 inhabitants located between Saint-André-de-Cubzac and Fronsac, in the Haute-Gironde region. Surrounded by vineyards of the Canon-Fronsac and Fronsac appellations, it benefits from a preserved rural setting. The fairground, the village's central green space, offers an ideal natural setting for this dual spring event.

A complete event for the whole family

The Plant Show is in its 10th edition in 2026, proving its deep roots in local life. Visitors can simultaneously find a bargain at the car boot sale, buy plants and flowers for their garden, and discover handmade creations. Refreshments and food are available on-site, allowing visitors to extend their stay. The event runs from 8 am to 6 pm, with exhibitors welcomed from 6 am.
