The Olemps Street Sale: a family event supported by the APEL of the École des Grillons

Each spring, the Olemps Sports Hall hosts the Olemps Street Sale, an event organized by the APEL of the École des Grillons. This annual street sale offers families in the Rodez agglomeration the opportunity to sell or buy at reduced prices items related to childhood: toys, childcare equipment, decorative items, and children's clothing from 0 to 16 years old. Entry is free for all visitors.

The Sports Hall, a suitable and accessible venue

The Olemps Sports Hall is a covered multi-purpose hall with a surface area of 968 m², usually dedicated to tennis, basketball, indoor football, and handball. Its spacious layout and 40-space parking lot make it an ideal venue for organizing street sales and flea markets. Sellers have tables and stands to present their items in good conditions, protected from the weather.

Olemps, a residential town on the outskirts of Rodez

Olemps (12510) is a commune in the Aveyron department with approximately 3,500 inhabitants, located in the immediate vicinity of Rodez. Bordered by the Aveyron river, this residential town offers a pleasant living environment, with green spaces, sports facilities, and close proximity to the prefecture's town center. The Georges Bru Sports Complex and the Sports Hall are among the most frequented municipal facilities, hosting sports activities and associative events throughout the year.

An economical and eco-responsible gesture

The Olemps Street Sale is part of a circular economy approach appreciated by families. By giving a second life to children's clothing, toys, and equipment, this event allows sellers to declutter their homes while offering buyers the opportunity to equip themselves at a lower cost. The profits from the organization are donated to the APEL of the École des Grillons to fund educational projects and school trips for the students.

Information for exhibitors

Sellers wishing to participate in the Olemps Street Sale can book a spot in advance. The price is €8 per table (1.80 m) and €1 per bench, with the option to book a stand of approximately 2.50 m. Registration is done by email. The street sale is open to individuals offering children's items.
