The charity flea market for the Restos du Cœur in Plaine-d'Argenson
The Restos du Cœur Flea Market is an annual charity event organized in Plaine-d'Argenson for the benefit of the local branch of the Restos du Cœur in Deux-Sèvres. This solidarity event allows private individuals to sell their everyday items while supporting an essential cause: the fight against hunger and poverty. All organizational proceeds go to the Restos du Cœur to fund food distribution and aid for the most vulnerable.
Every year in May, the commune of Plaine-d'Argenson hosts a charity flea market organized for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur of Deux-Sèvres. This event, a popular gathering for residents of the southern department, combines the pleasure of bargain hunting with charitable engagement. All proceeds from the organization go to the association founded by Coluche to fight hunger and poverty.
Plaine-d'Argenson is a new commune formed from the merger of several rural villages in southern Deux-Sèvres. The flea market spreads outdoors, offering private exhibitors ample space to display toys, clothing, dishes, books, ornaments, and furniture. Visitors appreciate the quiet and friendly atmosphere of this rural gathering.
The Restos du Cœur of Deux-Sèvres distribute thousands of meals each winter to people in need. The Plaine-d'Argenson flea market helps fund these solidarity actions.
Refreshments and food on site, provided by association volunteers, make for a pleasant outdoor day.
