The May 1st, 2025 car boot sale enlivened the courtyard of the Jules Ferry school in Langeac. From 7 am to 5 pm, sellers and visitors gathered on rue de la République for a festive day of treasure hunting with refreshments and lily of the valley for sale. €5/3m, free entry. Profits supported the school's educational projects.

Jules Ferry School Car Boot Sale — May 1st, 2025
The courtyard of the Jules Ferry school, on rue de la République in Langeac, hosted its annual car boot sale on May 1st, 2025. True to tradition, this Labor Day celebration was an opportunity for a large second-hand market open to all private sellers from the region.
From 7 am, sellers had set up in the schoolyard to offer visitors a selection of items in good condition: clothing, toys, books, decorative items, trinkets, and household goods filled the stalls throughout the day. The refreshment stand and bar offered hot and cold drinks, while a sale of lily of the valley recalled the symbolism of May 1st. The fee of €5 for 3 meters allowed many individuals to participate in a spirit of solidarity for the school.
