Crain Car Boot Sale — 2025 Edition
On Sunday 4 May 2025, the village of Crain in the Cure valley hosted its annual car boot sale under a fine May sky. Private sellers from the village and the surrounding Avallonnais offered antique objects, clothing, books and rural tools in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. The exceptional setting of the Cure valley, with the river and the Lac du Crescent close by, gave this edition a particularly pleasant character. Bargain hunters from Auxerre, Avallon and neighbouring Morvan villages took advantage of this spring Sunday to explore the stalls and uncover some fine finds.
