Opening of the Conflans flea market season
This season-opening flea market in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine attracts every spring the first Yvelines bargain hunters, eager to find the aisles again after winter. Organized by a local association, it offers 2x2 m or 2x4 m stands at accessible rates (€17 for 4 m²). Registrations open mid-February. A popular and friendly event in the French inland waterway capital.
Early April, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine kicks off its spring flea market season. Organized by a local association, this event attracts bargain hunters eager to return to their good habits after the winter months. It is often the first great opportunity of the year to stroll between the stands in search of everyday objects, trinkets, books, clothes or small furniture.
Organizers offer two stand sizes: 2x2 meters for €17, and 2x4 meters at a proportional rate. This flexibility allows both individuals with a few boxes and those with more to sell to find their format. Food stalls are not accepted, ensuring the sale remains focused on second-hand objects and family bric-a-brac. Registrations open on February 17 at 10 am, directly on site, and fill up quickly.
As in most Conflans flea markets, the offer is mainly composed of local private vendors displaying children's items, clothes, dishware, linen, toys, books, records and small decorative objects. Early-bird bargain hunters are always rewarded with nice finds, especially among 1960s-1980s items that today delight vintage lovers. The diversity of stands and relaxed atmosphere make this rendezvous a reliable fixture of the local calendar.
With several major bargain hunting events every year (Chennevières, Alouettes streets flea market, private house sales...), Conflans-Sainte-Honorine is one of the most active towns in Yvelines in the second-hand market. This density of events reflects residents' attachment to this popular and ecological practice, combining the pleasure of bargain hunting, social connection and waste reduction.
Visitors will take advantage of their visit to discover the historic center of Conflans, Saint-Maclou church overlooking the confluence, the Museum of Inland Waterways and the quays lively with barges. A day of bargain hunting in Conflans is also an opportunity for a refreshing walk along the water.
