On Saturday 25 April 2026, the annual car boot sale of Annay-sur-Serein was held at the village playground, beside the Serein river. True to its spring tradition, this edition brought together private sellers from the Serein valley and many visitors drawn by the dual opportunity to browse in a rural setting and visit Noyers-sur-Serein, one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, just 5 km away. Bric-a-brac, clothing, tableware and various objects animated the playground in a convivial rural atmosphere typical of the Yonne countryside.
