Every May 1st, the Comité des Fêtes de Quintin takes over the La Vallée site, by the pond, to organize a friendly car boot sale. This spring event has become a classic in the "Petite Cité de Caractère" of Côtes-d'Armor, attracting exhibitors and bargain hunters in a bucolic setting at the foot of the castle.
The originality of this day lies in the fishing competition organized simultaneously around the La Vallée pond. Two sessions are offered: from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., with on-site registration. Bargain hunters stroll between the stalls while fishermen try their luck, creating a festive and family atmosphere.
Quintin, labeled "Petite Cité de Caractère", is a charming medieval town in the Gouët valley. Dominated by its imposing 17th and 18th century castle, the town retains remarkable half-timbered houses and exceptional architectural heritage. The car boot sale is the ideal opportunity to discover this jewel of Breton heritage.
The rate is 3 euros per linear meter, tables not provided. Reservations are made by phone. Entry is free for visitors, and refreshments and food are provided on site by the committee's volunteers.
