Annual car boot sale by the Comité des Fêtes in Gratentour, indoor and outdoor
The Comité des Fêtes de Gratentour organizes a large car boot sale every spring, bringing together around 175 exhibitors over two days. The event takes place in the commune's cultural and festive hall, with pitches available both indoors and outdoors. Refreshments and food are available on-site, enhancing this friendly event that livens up the village of Gratentour, in the northern suburbs of Toulouse.
Every year at the beginning of April, the Comité des Fêtes de Gratentour takes over the commune's cultural and festive hall to organize a large car boot sale open to all. With around 175 exhibitors spread over two days, the event has established itself as one of the highlights of Gratentour's community life and attracts visitors from all over the northern suburbs of Toulouse.
The originality of this car boot sale lies in its dual configuration: the cultural and festive hall offers a covered space for exhibitors wishing to protect themselves from the vagaries of spring weather, while the outdoor areas host open-air stalls. In total, around 200 pitches are available, allowing a large number of individuals to clear out their attics under the best conditions.
Gratentour is a commune of about 4,000 inhabitants located about fifteen kilometers north of Toulouse. This village with its preserved character benefits from a dynamic associative fabric, driven in particular by the Comité des Fêtes which organizes several events throughout the year. The spring car boot sale is among the most popular events, bringing together villagers and visitors from surrounding communes in a friendly atmosphere.
The two-day format—Saturday and Sunday—allows bargain hunters to return for a second round and exhibitors to reach a wider audience. The aisles of the car boot sale are full of items of all kinds: clothing, toys, books, crockery, small furniture, garden tools, vinyl records, and knick-knacks. The Comité des Fêtes' refreshment stand offers drinks and snacks, contributing to the festive atmosphere of the event.
Individuals wishing to exhibit can register with the Comité des Fêtes de Gratentour, located at 1 and 5 rue Cayssials, at the town hall. Tables and chairs are not provided: each exhibitor must bring their own setup equipment. It is recommended to register quickly, as pitches are snapped up quickly each year.
The car boot sale of the Comité des Fêtes de Gratentour is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the cultural and festive hall. Approximately 175 exhibitors expected, indoor and outdoor pitches.
