The Clarac Car Boot Sale

Every year in June, the village of Clarac organizes a car boot sale that brings together bargain hunters in this town in Comminges. From 8 am to 5 pm, private sellers offer a wide range of second-hand items: clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, tools, and various objects. The event takes place in a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Clarac, a village at the foot of the Comminges hills

Clarac is a municipality of 658 inhabitants (the Claracais) located in Comminges, in the immediate vicinity of Montréjeau. The village covers 4.7 km² at the foot of the Pyrenees, between the Garonne plain and the first foothills of the Pyrenees. The municipality benefits from a pleasant natural setting with views of the Pyrenean range and is part of the Pyrénées Haut Garonnaises inter-municipal community.

Clarac is ideally located near major heritage sites in Comminges: Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, the basilica of Valcabrère, and the ancient site of Lugdunum Convenarum. Entry is free for visitors. The car boot sale is held from 8 am to 5 pm. Parking is easy in the village. Clarac is easily accessible from Montréjeau and the N125.
