Edition Mai 2025 — Car boot sale Bruyères Chaumeil
The 2025 edition of the car boot sale of the Bruyères de Chaumeil was held on Sunday, May 25th in the town hall square, at the foot of the Monédières massif. About fifty exhibitors offered second-hand items and trinkets, while the plant fair allowed gardeners to stock their vegetable gardens and mountain gardens. The association L'Écho de nos Bruyères provided refreshments and light meals.

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, the town hall square of Chaumeil hosted the annual car boot sale and plant fair organized by the association L'Écho de nos Bruyères. About fifty exhibitors set up their stalls in this village perched at the foot of the Monédières, offering second-hand items, clothes, trinkets, and toys to bargain hunters.
The plant fair attracted many amateur gardeners who came to stock up on tomato, zucchini, lettuce, flower, and herb plants for the season. At 700 meters above sea level, the planting season starts later than in the lowlands, making this plant market particularly useful for the inhabitants of the Limousin mountains.
