The Castelsagrat festival committee enlivens each spring the lanes and the magnificent Place de la Liberté with its traditional flea market and brocante. In this royal 13th-century bastide, classified among Tarn-et-Garonne's villages of character, private sellers and antique dealers share a day of bargain hunting under medieval arcades.
A brocante in a royal bastide
Castelsagrat is a little gem of Tarn-et-Garonne, founded as a bastide by Alphonse of Poitiers in 1270 and granted royal status in 1271. Its magnificent central square, bordered by 13th and 14th century arcades on all four sides, is one of the loveliest covered squares in the department.
The festival committee in charge
This associative event, run by the Castelsagrat festival committee, is among the awaited dates on the Quercy blanc bastides calendar. The flea market mixes village private sellers and a few brocante dealers.
Private sellers and dealers: the mixed formula
This dual identity is the event's signature. Both classic mass-market browsing items (china, clothes, toys, books, vinyl) and more sought-after pieces by dealers: antique furniture, Quercy regional items, old faience, vintage tools, militaria, old papers.
Castelsagrat, a village of character
Discover its immense Roman-tradition well, its early 14th century single-nave southern church, its rare covered square. End the day with lunch under the arcades.

The 2026 edition took place on Sunday 5 April 2026 on Place de la Liberté. Private sellers and dealers animated the heart of the royal bastide, faithful to the village's spring tradition.
2026 Edition Review
On Sunday 5 April 2026, Place de la Liberté in Castelsagrat hosted the new edition of the flea market and brocante organised by the festival committee. The exceptional setting of this 13th-century royal bastide once again offered a unique frame.
Private sellers from the village and neighbouring bastides, plus a few regular dealers, displayed the expected range. The fine spring weather and free admission drew a large crowd.
The next appointment is set for spring 2027.
