Charitable bargain hunting in the Pays d'Aigues, supporting the firefighters
Every spring, the Firefighters Association of Beaumont-de-Pertuis organizes its annual flea market on Cours Emile Pardé, the lively main avenue of the village. A popular Pays d'Aigues gathering that supports social actions and equipment for local firefighters, in a festive and family atmosphere.
Beaumont-de-Pertuis, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Durance, is the Provençal gateway to the South Luberon from the east. Each year, the village Firefighters Association organizes its flea market on Cours Emile Pardé, the large plane-tree-lined avenue that structures village life.
Firefighter associations play an essential role in Provençal village life: they fund social activities, contribute to buying additional equipment, support volunteers' families and participate in village ceremonies.
Clothing, toys, books, tableware, knick-knacks, small appliances, tools, board games, sometimes more interesting pieces like old posters, records, Provençal linens.
The 2026 edition of the Beaumont-de-Pertuis Firefighters flea market will take place on Sunday 3 May 2026 on Cours Emile Pardé. Morning opening, bar and grills run by the firefighters, family atmosphere. Proceeds support the social actions and equipment of the village firefighters.
