BOEM Car boot sale of Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets

Bargains on the outskirts of Saint-Malo

The BOEM association's car boot sale in Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets is an early summer event much appreciated by bargain hunters from the Pays Malouin region. Private sellers offer a wide range of second-hand items: furniture, crockery, clothes, jewellery, toys, books, and various flea market items. The refreshment stand is open all day, and parking is available at the housing estate on Rue Élise Roche, with pedestrian access via the alley.

Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets, between the Rance and the Malouin countryside

Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets is a town of about 2,900 inhabitants located on the southern outskirts of Saint-Malo, on the right bank of the Rance river. The town centre offers a pleasant residential environment, between the estuary banks and the hedged countryside. The town has a rich rural heritage with its 'malouinières', the 18th-century residences of corsairs and merchants from Saint-Malo that dot the surrounding countryside.

The car boot sale takes place in June in the town centre. Entry is free. Parking is available at the housing estate on Rue Élise Roche, with pedestrian access via the alley.
