Edition Mai 2025 — Car boot sale APE Vars
The first edition of the APE de Vars car boot sale took place on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at the Champ de Foire, next to the leisure center. Organized by the Parents' Association of the Vars school, this inaugural event allowed families from the town and surrounding areas to enjoy a friendly day of bargain hunting, with food, drinks, and Italian ice cream available on site.

On Thursday, May 8th, 2025, the Champ de Foire in Vars hosted the very first car boot sale organized by the APE of the Vars school. Exhibitors, set up from 6 am, offered their items to bargain hunters who came to enjoy this sunny public holiday in Charente. The pitches at 2 euros per linear meter found takers, with booking strongly recommended for this highly anticipated first edition.
The family-friendly and convivial atmosphere was present, with a food service, a refreshment stand, and Italian ice cream offered by volunteer parents. The profits from this day were reinvested in funding school trips and educational projects for the Vars school, giving full meaning to this parental initiative.
