The 2025 edition of the Annual Car Boot Sale of Soubise took place on Sunday, May 4th, on Place Robert Chatelier, Place Verdun, and the town center esplanade. This outdoor treasure hunt day attracted many bargain hunters from the Rochefort area, who came to rummage through stalls of trinkets, crockery, toys, and books. Looking Back at the 2025 Edition
On Sunday, May 4th, 2025, Soubise hosted its annual car boot sale on the town center squares, in a pleasant spring setting by the Charente. Exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, offered trinkets, crockery, toys, books, and everyday items to visitors and bargain hunters from Rochefort, Marennes, and La Rochelle throughout the day.
Place Robert Chatelier, Place Verdun, and the esplanade provided an airy and friendly treasure hunting route. Refreshments and light catering on site allowed visitors to extend their stroll in this town of character, between the castle and the banks of the Charente. The annual car boot sale of Soubise confirms its role as a popular event in the Rochefort area.
The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, still on the town center squares.
