The great spring gathering in the heart of Beaumont, every May in the town centre streets
In the heart of Val-d'Oise, on the banks of the Oise, Beaumont-sur-Oise (95260) is the urban centre of the northern valley, home to around 10,000 residents. Every first Sunday in May, its commercial streets transform into a vast treasure market for the Annual Town Centre Flea Market. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday 3 May on Rue Léon Godin and surrounding areas, from 5 AM to 5 PM.
Organised by Richard Tkacz, this general flea market brings together between 100 and 200 sellers, mostly private individuals clearing furniture, crockery, clothing, toys and everyday objects. Sellers can choose an indoor spot in the salle des fêtes — with tables and rails provided, set-up possible from Saturday evening — or an outdoor pitch in the pedestrianised streets at €8 per linear metre.
The Beaumont-sur-Oise flea market is more than just trading: it is a genuine neighbourhood celebration. The batucada performance by the Lezard Tape group adds a musical and colourful touch to the aisles. Fast food is available in the town hall park, and a refreshment stand keeps sellers and visitors going throughout the day.
