The car boot sale organized by the Association Culturelle de Biscarrosse-Plage (ACBP) is a must-attend event on May 1st on the Landes coast. Spread across Avenue de la Plage, Place Dufau, Boulevard des Sables, and Place de l'Océan, this open-air event offers an exceptional setting for treasure hunting just a stone's throw from the ocean. Reserved for individuals, with pitches at €5 per meter (minimum 2m). Registration only on mybrocante.fr.
Every May 1st, the Association Culturelle de Biscarrosse-Plage (ACBP) organizes a large car boot sale that takes over the main streets of the seaside resort. Avenue de la Plage, Place Dufau, Boulevard Tamaris, and Place de l'Océan are transformed into a vast open-air flea market, a few hundred meters from the Atlantic Ocean.
The ACBP car boot sale is strictly reserved for individual sellers: professionals are not allowed. This rule ensures that visitors can find genuine second-hand items at reasonable prices, without the competition of professional dealers. Pitches are charged at 5 euros per linear meter, with a minimum of 2 meters. Registrations are exclusively made on the mybrocante.fr website, with no reservations by phone or email.
Biscarrosse-Plage is one of the busiest seaside resorts on the Landes coast, known for its vast fine sandy beaches and waves popular with surfers. May 1st traditionally marks the start of the tourist season, and the ACBP car boot sale is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the seafront in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. Stall setup from 7 am, open to the public from 8 am to 6 pm.
The ACBP car boot sale returns on Friday, May 1st, 2026, on the Biscarrosse-Plage seafront. Reserved for individuals, from 8 am to 6 pm.
