A flea market at the gateway to the Northern Vosges

The Gumbrechtshoffen Flea Market takes place in a pleasant setting, in the heart of a typical Alsatian village located at the gateway to the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park. Private exhibitors take over the village streets to display their treasures from the morning: clothing for the whole family, toys, soft toys, board games, books, comics, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, decorative trinkets, antique and modern crockery, glassware, small furniture, household linen, DIY and gardening tools, sports articles and vintage objects.

Gumbrechtshoffen, between Niederbronn and Reichshoffen

Gumbrechtshoffen is a commune of around 1,500 inhabitants located in the north of the Bas-Rhin department, in the Falkensteinerbach valley, between the two spa and industrial centres of Niederbronn-les-Bains and Reichshoffen. The village, which has retained its rural character with its half-timbered houses, vegetable gardens and orchards, is in the immediate vicinity of the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park, classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Hiking and nature enthusiasts find an ideal playground here, with the ruins of the Wasigenstein, Fleckenstein and Falkenstein castles just a few kilometres away.
