Artisan village
About 60 exhibitors: wood creators, ceramicists, glassblowers, jewellers, leather, textile, perfumery, gourmet producers (chocolate, spice bread, jams, honey, foie gras, spirits). High quality, selected Grand Ouest+.
Atmosphere and treats
Mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, spice bread, crepes, tartiflette, regional specialities. Illuminations, medieval decor, night animations (fire shows, strolling performers, musicians). Rare evening market inside a medieval castle.
Tiffauges Castle, medieval fortress
One of the Grand Ouest's major medieval castles, linked to the infamous Gilles de Rais (15th c.). Property of the Vendée Département, active year-round with history animations, shows and re-enactments.
