Flea market, craft market and vintage vehicle exhibition organized by the Amicale San-Salvatorienne
Every second Sunday in August, the village of Saint-Sauveur comes alive for the Manif'Estives, the flagship event organized by the Amicale San-Salvatorienne. This festive event combines a flea market, a craft market, and a vintage vehicle exhibition on the Place de l'Église, in the heart of this small village of 238 inhabitants nestled in the Vingeanne valley.
From 7 a.m., flea market exhibitors set up their stalls in the village square, offering second-hand items, clothing, toys, crockery, and curiosities of all kinds. The craft market complements the offer with local products and creations. Pitches are available for €2 per linear meter, with coffee offered to exhibitors upon arrival.
From 9 a.m., lovers of fine mechanics can admire a vintage vehicle exhibition: collector cars, vintage tractors, and old motorcycles are displayed alongside the flea market stalls. This automotive aspect of the Manif'Estives attracts enthusiasts of mechanical heritage from all over Côte-d'Or and beyond.
Saint-Sauveur is a village in the Vingeanne valley, near the canal between Champagne and Burgundy. The village has a 13th-century church with Burgundian glazed tiles and a 19th-century castle surrounded by an English-style park. The Amicale San-Salvatorienne animates the village's associative life throughout the year, notably organizing a traditional football tournament on the same August weekend.
