Free market for object exchange at the Espace de l'Ermitage de Frouard
The Gratiferia de Frouard is a free market regularly organized at the Espace de l'Ermitage. The principle is simple: bring what you no longer like, leave with what you like. Clothes, shoes, toys, books, CDs, DVDs, small appliances, dishes, decoration, plants, and small furniture in good condition are accepted. Remaining items at the end of the event are donated to an association.
The Gratiferia de Frouard is an original and supportive concept that is regularly held at the Espace de l'Ermitage. The principle is as simple as it is generous: everyone brings the objects they no longer use and freely leaves with those they like, without any financial compensation. A beautiful gesture for the environment and social connection.
Participants are invited to bring items in good working order: clothes, shoes, accessories and costume jewelry, games and toys, bicycles, CDs, DVDs, books and magazines, computer and hi-fi equipment, plants, cuttings and seeds, dishes, small appliances, decorative objects, and small furniture. The diversity of donations means that each Gratiferia holds its share of surprises and discoveries.
The Gratiferia is part of a waste reduction and circular economy approach. By giving objects a second life, it avoids waste while allowing everyone to find useful items for free. Items not collected at the end of the event are entrusted to a charitable association, ensuring that no donation is lost.
The Espace de l'Ermitage is a cultural facility of the community of communes of the Bassin de Pompey located in Frouard. This versatile venue regularly hosts cultural, associative, and solidarity events, of which the Gratiferia is one of the most popular gatherings. The event takes place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
