The largest flea market in the region, every third Sunday of June at Parc des Miches in Montbéliard
Every third Sunday of June, the Parc des Miches in Montbéliard transforms into a huge open-air flea market. Organized by the Commune Libre de la Citadelle, this popular event brings together 200 to 300 exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, spread over nearly 1,400 meters of linear space along the park and in adjacent streets.
The Brocante des Miches extends far beyond the borders of Montbéliard, attracting visitors from the Doubs, Haute-Saône, Territoire de Belfort, and even neighboring Switzerland. Thousands of bargain hunters browse the aisles in search of antique furniture, tableware, decorative objects, vinyl records, old toys, vintage clothing, or unique curiosities. Each stall is an invitation to discover and negotiate, in the great tradition of French flea markets.
The Commune Libre de la Citadelle is an association from Montbéliard dedicated to animating the Citadelle district and perpetuating local festive traditions. It has been organizing the Brocante des Miches since the late 1990s, building its reputation with each edition as the largest flea market event in the agglomeration. In 2026, the event will reach its 28th edition, demonstrating the loyalty of the public and the dynamism of the organizers.
Montbéliard is a city of approximately 25,000 inhabitants, the district capital of the Doubs and the heart of the Pays de Montbéliard. The Parc des Miches, a green setting on the riverbank, offers an ideal backdrop for this major summer treasure hunt event.
