Grand car boot sale combined with a plant festival and artisan market, May 8th in Louargat
The grand car boot sale and plant festival of Louargat is held every May 8th in the village center, between Guingamp and Belle-Isle-en-Terre. Up to 100 exhibitors occupy the village streets to offer second-hand items, plants, artisanal creations, and local products. The exhibitor fee is 3 euros per linear meter. Free entry, food and drinks available on site.
Every May 8th, the commune of Louargat, nestled at the foot of Menez Bré in Trégor, hosts a grand car boot sale combined with a plant festival and an artisan market. This triple event combines the pleasure of treasure hunting with gardening and discovering local crafts.
The car boot sale extends throughout the village of Louargat, behind the town hall, offering up to 100 spaces for exhibitors. You'll find the usual array of furniture, clothing, toys, trinkets, and second-hand items, but also nurseries, horticulturists, and creators who take advantage of the plant festival to showcase their productions. The fee is 3 euros per linear meter.
Louargat is dominated by Menez Bré, a mythical hill 302 meters high offering an exceptional panorama of the Trégor countryside. The May 8th plant festival is the ideal opportunity to discover this green territory, between moors and hedgerows, where nature and gardening enthusiasts find a favorite spot.
The organizers offer food and drink services throughout the day. The present nurseries and creators willingly share their advice and expertise with visitors, in a spirit of conviviality and transmission.
2026 edition of the grand car boot sale and plant festival of Louargat, Friday, May 8th.
