The Foire aux Greniers de Caen: an unmissable event in La Prairie

Several times a year, the Cours du Général Koenig, a vast green esplanade in the heart of La Prairie de Caen, transforms into a huge open-air flea market. The Foire aux Greniers, organized by the association Espace Solidarité Itinérant, brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors offering their finds to bargain hunters from all over Normandy.

The Cours du Général Koenig offers a unique promenade setting, bordered by the racecourse and the lawns of La Prairie, one of the largest green spaces in the center of Caen. The stalls stretch along this wide avenue, allowing for smooth circulation between the stands. The site is easily accessible by public transport and has parking nearby, including for people with reduced mobility.
